American Frozen Foods has operated under the United States Department
of Agriculture's Total Quality Control (TQC) program since 1986 - a
privilege which is awarded to only about 5% of the 8600 U.S.D.A.
Inspected facilities. Our selection for TQC occurred after a 3 year
observation period, during which the U.S.D.A. verified AFF's consistent
adherence to the highest standards of sanitation, our adherence to all
applicable government regulations, and our management team's dedication
to providing an absolutely wholesome, quality product.
Under TQC, selected employees in every processing area are designated and trained as TQC "officials". As such, they are responsible for continual inspection and maintenance to ensure that our facility, as well as our operational procedures related to product quality, hygiene and sanitation, meet or exceed U.S.D.A. standards. In 1998, AFF adopted the U.S.D.A. H.A.C.C.P. progam, which enforces even stricter food handling and safety guidelines. The same stringent standards are also upheld throughout our delivery system. Customer orders are delivered in sparkling refrigerated trucks which maintain constant 0-degree temperatures. Our special order handling guarantees that our customers receive the highest quality, cleanest and safest food available anywhere! |
